Do we need feminist marketing?

Many products and innovations are still largely made for men, and brand management is geared to them - whether in the healthcare sector, financial products, or in the areas of mobility and design. Opinion research is also currently coming to the conclusion that, when it comes to the topic of gender roles, opinions and attitudes are increasingly coming to a head; on the other hand, the old familiar gender roles are increasingly losing their significance. From the point of view of consumer perception, is it really an obstacle that women feel inadequately addressed, or is it rather just feminist ideology? And if so, what are the causes? Is it exclusively due to the still male-dominated decision-making structures in marketing, or what are the reservations? Do we need a new orientation in times when diversity is becoming the norm? Will gender awareness be the top priority in the future?
