Being funny on the internet
Online humor meets debate culture
Being funny is an art, and being funny online is three times more so - and a completely different challenge than the spontaneous slap between friends or the glossy comedy production from Hollywood. Memes on Instagram, TikTok and the rest of the social Internet embody the zeitgeist of online culture.

Moderator Susanne Adele Schlüter talks with Marius Notter, curator at @museumofdeutschland and one of the two masterminds behind @alman_memes2.0, about what constitutes humor on the Internet and on social platforms.
