How is the AI boom is changing the media industry?

There is hardly any other industry where AI triggers such fierce reactions as in the media industry. While some fear for their jobs, others are excited about new opportunities for creative work. But beyond the hype and buzzwords, how do things look in Bavarian media companies when it comes to AI? This is the subject of the current study by XPLR: MEDIA in Bavaria, for the qualitative part of which selected AI experts were interviewed. At the MTM 23 panel, Alessandro Alviani (Product Lead NLP Ippen Digital GmbH & Co. KG), Theresa Körner (communication scientist and social media manager with a focus on innovations in journalism), Cécile Schneider (Product Lead @ BR AI + Automation Lab) and Thomas Endres (Managing Director TNG Technology Consulting) will provide insights into the disruptive effects of AI and what upheavals it can bring to the media sector.
