Alessandro Alviani

Alessandro Alviani is Lead Generative AI at Süddeutsche Zeitung Digitale Medien GmbH. In this role, he focuses on the design and implementation of AI tools and workflows. He has a background in journalism and worked for several years as Germany correspondent for the Italian daily newspaper ‘La Stampa’. He later moved to Microsoft News, where he worked as editorial director of the Berlin hub, among other things. There he began to work intensively with AI tools. He most recently deepened this expertise as Product Lead AI at Ippen Digital.
