Simone Jost-Westendorf

Simone Jost-Westendorf has been working at the State Media Authority of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2015 to promote a strong and diverse media landscape in North Rhine-Westphalia. Together with her team, she promotes journalistic diversity through innovation and young talent programs and advocates for a diverse media discourse. Before joining the Media Authority in Düsseldorf, she was editor-in-chief of ARTE Magazine at the German-French TV channel ARTE in Strasbourg, worked as a freelance film producer, and headed the online magazine politik-digital.de in Berlin.
