Schiwa Schlei is head of programming for the two young WDR brands 1LIVE and COSMO. She is one of Germany's most successful podcast producers. Her great passion: digital innovation and the medium of radio. Her mission: digital transformation. Her career in public radio began at SWR3.de, followed by positions at WDR.de and SPORTSCHAU.de. At 1LIVE, she built up the digital editorial team between 2006 and 2015, first focusing on website, later on social media and app. At COSMO, she set up the Fifty Fifty station as head of programming: Digital and audio units are equal pillars at the former radio station. Since January 2022, the Iranian native has also been responsible for Germany's most successful young station, 1LIVE, in addition to COSMO.
