Live Cloud Production on AWS

In the media industry, it is becoming increasingly important to adapt to the constantly changing demands of the audience. One approach to achieve this is to reduce operational overheads and focus on the core business. In this session, we will show how to build a flexible and modern live production environment on AWS. We will show a solution that covers simple magazine formats as well as high profile productions by utilising the extensive AWS partner network. The system must be able to handle inbound and outbound live signals while remaining cost-efficient and transparent. In addition, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE will show how they have approached the topic and conducted a proof of concept to further scale their live production environment.

This talk is aimed at broadcast workload managers, sports rights holders, product owners, architects and anyone who wants to learn how to build a flexible and modern production environment in the cloud.
