Council for the future

What's next for ARD and ZDF in 2025?

The federal states' draft for the Interstate Treaty Reform is here - and is being hotly debated. Fewer public broadcasters, more cooperation and more control? That's what the state premiers want to decide while the MEDIENTAGE are taking place. We take a critical look and ask: Where is the regulation of public service broadcasting heading? What has actually become of the Future Council's proposals? How have media policy and the broadcasters themselves driven the reform process forward in the meantime? How has the public debate on public service broadcasting evolved?
