Being funny is an art, being funny on the internet is even more so - and a completely different challenge to the spontaneous slap in the face between friends or the glossy comedy production from Hollywood. Memes on Instagram, TikTok and the rest of the social internet embody the zeitgeist of online culture. But what is humor allowed on the Internet? How easy is it for comedians to be funny these days? Who is allowed to make jokes about what? Who can be reached on the various platforms - and who can't? Is the potential outrage on the Internet and among the target group to be found there greater, more direct and more intense?
