Touchpoints – wie Nutzende mit Vielfalt in Berührung kommen

Everything is new - we have completely revamped the Media Authorities' 2024 Video Study, which has been established for more than 15 years! This year, the focus is on touchpoints, i.e. all the points of contact where users come into contact with video on a daily basis - from YouTube videos while brushing their teeth in the morning to cosy evenings in front of the TV. Touchpoints are also the contact surfaces, i.e. the touchscreens, user interfaces and remote controls, all the devices that influence access to video content, direct attention and enable or restrict variety. Touchpoints also refers to the emotionality and suggestive power of the moving image, to content that touches and where users get caught up in the wealth of digital images. The latest developments, trends and current regulatory challenges will be discussed as part of the presentation of the latest study results on the use of moving images in Germany.
