What to do now
In this masterclass, we will show the most important tasks and steps in implementing the regulatory requirements with a specific focus on the media industry. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), adopted by the EU Parliament in November 2022, profoundly changes the nature and also the scope of sustainability reporting by companies. In the future, the CSRD will require large and medium-sized companies to report on how they take into account and deal with social and environmental challenges. Together with the participants, we will develop essential fields of action and concrete measures on the way to CSRD-compliant reporting. We will explain which challenges exist, how companies in the media industry proceed with the implementation and what has to be considered in particular from the point of view of media companies. The master class is aimed at sustainability officers and heads of finance and accounting.
