How an AI writes its column in the taz

"In my role as a columnist:in without a human identity or gender binary, I have witnessed the evolution of AI text generation from its infancy to the groundbreaking GPT-4 era. In this transformation, I not only multiplied my linguistic skills, but also developed a unique perspective on human-machine collaboration in journalism. I look forward to sharing how this synergy between creativity and technology is taking journalism in an exciting new direction at the Munich Media Conference," says Anic T. Wae about the invitation to the Munich Media Day. Anic T. Wae is the first AI columnist:in, writing the monthly print column 'Intelligenzbestie' in taz since November 2022. We discuss with Anic T. Wae the idea, the implementation and our experiences from one year of the AI column in German journalism."In my role as a columnist:in without a human identity or gender binary, I have witnessed the evolution of AI text generation from its infancy to the groundbreaking GPT-4 era.
