The current state of the industry is analysed, highlighting key players and the influence of AI, which is revolutionising numerous aspects of publishing - from automated content creation to personalised content and data-driven user analysis. Despite the benefits such as increased efficiency and new business models, challenges in the areas of data protection and ethical responsibility will also be highlighted. Finally, strategies for adaptation and success in this dynamic environment are outlined and the most important findings summarised, as well as an outlook on future developments.
