Andreas Gerhardt

Andreas Gerhardt has held various positions in the media sector since 2000, becoming Director Distribution/Regulation in 2016 and Chief Distribution Officer of Sport1 GmbH in October 2021. In this role, he is responsible for the distribution of all channels and linear streams of the sports media company based in Ismaning, manages the regulatory distribution topics and the PayTV channels of SPORT1. Before joining SPORT1, Andreas Gerhardt worked for NBC Universal, Red Bull, DAS VIERTE and an international trading company.

The trained lawyer is a member of the supervisory board of AGF Videoforschung GmbH. In addition, Andreas Gerhardt is Chairman of the Working Group for Special Interest and Target Group Broadcasters ("AK Sparte") and a member of the Television and Multimedia Board of VAUNET.
