Fabian Tobias

Fabian Tobias holds a degree in media economics and is Managing Director of Germany's largest independent non-scripted production company EndemolShine Gemany. Over the course of his career, he has produced numerous international formats from a wide variety of TV genres such as "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" (RTL), "I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here!" (RTL), "Hell's Kitchen" (SAT.1) and "MasterChef" (Sky) as well as the comedy show "Comedians der Welt" (Netflix) and the factual hit "Celebrity Hunted" (Amazon Prime). In his former role as "Head of Show" at EndemolShine, he secured the licence rights for "The Masked Singer" (ProSieben), which became the most successful show format since the station was founded. In 2019, Fabian Tobias joined the Management Board of Brainpool TV, where he developed the primetime hit show "Big Performance - Wer ist der Star im Star?" (RTL) and produced live event shows such as the "Deutscher Comedypreis" (SAT.1). Since July 2020, he has been Managing Director of EndemolShine Germany, which is part of the Banijay Group and produces formats such as "The Masked Singer", "Die Höhle der Löwen", "Wer wird Millionär?" and "Kitchen Impossible". In October 2020, Fabian Tobias was voted 28th among the TOP 100 OUT EXECUTIVES 2020 as part of the joint project of the PROUT AT WORK Foundation and UHLALA GmbH. The award recognises managers in leadership positions who are open about being LGBT+ in their workplace. Fabian Tobias grew up in Solingen and lives in Cologne. He is married and has 2 children.
