Kathrin Seßler

Kathrin Seßler is a research associate and PhD student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), at the Chair of Human-Centered Technologies for Learning. Her research activities focus on machine learning, natural language processing, and the application of large-scale language models in education. After her bachelor's degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg and her master's degree at the University of Tübingen in Computer Science, she is now putting her technical knowledge to use in education. Her current project is the AI tutor PEER, which aims to help students write different types of essays and motivate them to write.
