Programme Director, Radio TEDDY

Roland Lehmann has been the program director of Radio TEDDY - the family radio station for the whole day since 2017. Together with a young team, he creates a 24-hour program that focuses on children and their parents. The program has received several awards as an outstanding educational medium and has won the Radio Culture Prize and the German Radio Prize. The communications graduate and trained journalist previously worked as a reporter, editor and presenter for private and public stations throughout Germany. At Radio TEDDY, he worked as morning show anchor, afternoon show host and chief presenter. Under his leadership, Radio TEDDY has now received licenses for 14 federal states, reaching more than 70 million people. He has been instrumental in driving forward the digital and cross-media transformation of the editorial team and has also made non-linear content usable. Lehmann is a jury member for the Media Surfer of the Hessen Media Authority and a lecturer at the University of Erfurt.
