Niddal Salah-Eldin

Niddal Salah-Eldin is a member of the Executive Board at Axel Springer SE. Her focus is on global talent and culture issues as well as future topics such as ESG and Generative AI. Niddal studied journalism and political science in Mainz and Washington, D.C. She held positions at the United Nations, ZDF, CNN and Der Spiegel before joining Axel Springer in 2014. There she worked on innovation topics, most recently as Director Digital Innovation in the WELT editorial department. After a move to dpa, where she was deputy editor-in-chief responsible for product and innovation, she returned to Springer in 2021 as Managing Director of FreeTech - Axel Springer Academy of Journalism and Technology. In the summer of 2022, she was appointed to the Executive Board.
