Björn Böhning

Björn Böhning has been Managing Director of the Alliance of German Producers - Film & Television e.V. (Produktionsallianz) since May 2022 and Spokesman of the Board of Directors since July 2023. From March 2018 to January 2022, he was State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the German Federal Film Board and Deutschlandradio, as well as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. From 2011 to 2018, Björn Böhning headed the Senate Chancellery of the State of Berlin and was responsible for media, film and digitalisation policy. Björn Böhning lives and works in Berlin and is strongly committed to developing and strengthening the German media landscape.
