
Rudi Hoogvliet

Born in 1958 in Vlissingen / Netherlands, Rudi Hoogvliet studied political science and education in Stuttgart. During the previous two legislative periods, he worked for Minister President Winfried Kretschmann as government spokesman and headed the press office of the state government. Previously, he was an advisor to the executive board in the Baden-Württemberg state parliamentary group of the Green Party and managed the federal election campaigns for the Green Party in 2002, 2005 and 2009. Since May 12, 2021, Rudi Hoogvliet has been State Secretary for Media and Development Policy and Plenipotentiary of the state to the federal government. He has voting rights in the state cabinet.
