Dr. Martin Rupp

Dr. Martin Rupp is Head of Regulatory Affairs & Public Policy at Sky Deutschland. Before joining Sky in 2020, he held similar positions at Vodafone, Kabel Deutschland and the Association of German Magazine Publishers, and was a research associate at the Institute for European Media Law and Saarland University, where he received his doctorate in press and data protection law. Dr. Rupp completed his legal training at the University of Heidelberg, the Higher Regional Court of Zweibrücken and in Toronto, Canada. He is a board member of the Media Policy Working Group at bitkom and a co-opted member of the Television and Multimedia Division Board at VAUNET.
