Dr. Kristian Kunow

Kristian Kunow studied media, communication and economics. After graduating, he worked for a TV station and in management consulting. He completed his doctorate in economics at the Free University of Berlin. Kristian Kunow joined the State Media Authorities in 2013, first as a platform regulation officer, later he was coordinator of the Platforms and Networks Division at the Joint Office. At the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting (BLM), he was responsible for topics in the area of media research and media economics. Since 2018, Kristian Kunow has been Deputy Director of the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb). Here, he heads the Funding and Projects department and is responsible for mabb's participations.
