Dr. Wieland Holfelder

Since 2008, Dr. Wieland Holfelder has been head of the Google Development Centre in Munich, which is also home to the Google Safety Engineering Centre and the development of the Sovereign Cloud in Europe. Before Google, Dr. Holfelder spent more than 10 years in Silicon Valley, among others for Mercedes-Benz Research and Technology North America, Inc. Among other things, he is a member of the acatech Senate and a member of the Supervisory Board of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. Dr Holfelder was awarded the title of "GI Fellow" by the Gesellschaft für Informatik (gi.de).
