Christian Nitsche

As Editor-in-Chief, Christian Nitsche heads BR24, the cross-media information brand of Bayerischer Rundfunk. He is also responsible for ARD reporting from numerous countries. ARD's "AI Podcast" is being created in his area. Nitsche hosted the first political talk show with a ChatGPT robot in early 2023. Nitsche also hosts the ARD magazine Report München as well as ARD-Brennpunkte. He is a Tagesthemen commentator. Until 2017, Nitsche was editor-in-chief at ARD aktuell. During his tenure, Tagesschau also became the market leader on social media. Nitsche's previous positions include eight years as a correspondent in the ARD capital studio, as well as reporting from several war and crisis zones.
