Alberto Horta

Alberto Horta has joined IMG Media, the global market leader in sports, event and media rights, as SVP and Managing Director responsible for distribution and commercial strategy in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Horta was most recently VP Commercial Development and Deputy Managing Director of Discovery Communications Germany and Channel Director of Tele 5, where he was responsible for strategy development and commercial direction in Distribution, Ad Sales and Digital - in the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Before joining the German management team, he held various roles in Discovery's international business. Before joining Discovery, he worked for the sports channel Eurosport.
