Ruth Meyer

Ruth Meyer has been head of the Saarland State Media Authority (LMS) since May 1, 2020. She is the Commissioner for Artificial Intelligence within the community of state media authorities.
From 2012-2020, Ruth Meyer was a member of the Saarland state parliament, where she held the position of domestic policy spokesperson and was responsible for education and media issues. Prior to this, she held various management positions in the administration. During and after her studies, Ruth Meyer worked for many years as a freelancer for organizations and companies in the digital and media sector and was editor of a campus radio station. She has a master's degree in education, political science and social psychology as well as a degree in speech science.
