Judith Gerlach

Bavaria's Digital Minister, Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Digitales

Judith Gerlach is Bavaria's Minister of Digital. She has led the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs since it was founded in November 2018. As Germany's first female digital minister, she steers the expansion of digital services for citizens and businesses. However, the minister also represents the Free State in the direction of the federal government, for example in the IT Planning Council. Gerlach stands for a technology-open, value-oriented digital policy that protects the interests of citizens. At 37, the youngest cabinet member, the Minister of State is committed to the interests of the younger generation. Judith Gerlach was included in the "Top 40 under 40" by Germany's leading business newspaper Capital.
