Prof. Dr. Martin Andree

Prof. Dr. Martin Andree teaches media studies at the University of Cologne. He studied in Cologne, Münster, Cambridge, and Harvard, and his research focuses on the dominance of digital corporations. He is the author of eight books and received the Günter Wallraff Special Prize for Freedom of the Press and Human Rights for his bestseller “Big Tech muss weg!” (Big Tech Must Go!). On August 21, his book “Krieg der Medien: Dark Tech und Populisten übernehmen die Macht” (War of the Media: Dark Tech and Populists Take Power) was published.
