Erhard Grundl

Member of the German Bundestag and Spokesman for Cultural and Media Policy, BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN

Erhard Grundl, born in 1963, has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2017 and is the spokesman for cultural and media policy for the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group. He is a member of the Committee on Culture and Media, the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Subcommittee on Foreign Cultural and Educational Policy. Before being elected to the Bundestag in 2017, he was a distribution manager in the independent music industry. 1987-1997 he was a member of the rock band "Baby You Know". Since 2004, he has been active in the Green Party. He is a member of the advisory board of the Goethe Institute, the board of the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft, the board of trustees of the Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the Parliamentary Forum for Club Culture and Nightlife, the fan radio "Straubing Tigers on Air", the Box-Club Straubing e.V., the social association VdK, the service union ver.di and many more.
