Albrecht Bähr

Since 01 January 2022, Albrecht Bähr has been Chairman of the nationwide Conference of Committee Chairpersons (GVK) of the 14 State Media Authorities. The members discuss matters that are important in (media) society, media policy and for the cooperation of the state media authorities. These are above all questions of programme development and media ethical positions. Albrecht Bähr has also been a member of the assembly of the Media Authority of Rhineland-Palatinate since 2007, which he took over as chairman in 2011. He was born in Speyer and represents the League of Central Associations of Independent Welfare Organisations in Rhineland-Palatinate. Albrecht Bähr studied theology in Tübingen and Heidelberg.
