Sham Jaff

Sham Jaff is a freelance journalist and senior advisor for projects and research at the Bonn Institute. She reports on topics such as racism, flight and non-European foreign countries. Each week, she writes the German government's Culture and Creative Pilots 2021 award-winning newsletter "what happened last week," in which she curates underrepresented news from Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Jaff received the Grimme Online Award 2021 for her podcast "190220 - A year after Hanau. Jaff lives in Berlin.
