Simone Watzinger

Simone Watzinger joined Games/Bavaria in March 2020 and is responsible for the strategic direction of the brand as Team Lead. She studied Media and Communication in Passau, "Médias, langages et sociétés" in Paris and Literary Translation in Munich. From 2005 to 2014 she worked in the games industry in marketing, product management and as a freelance writer. Her research interests are cyberculture, hacking, open source and games. After further stations in the media industry and in science, she now supports Bavarian game devs and companies from the games ecosystem in the Free State with Games/Bavaria. Games/Bavaria is a brand of Medien.Bayern GmbH and is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs.
