Elke Walthelm

Elke Walthelm has been Executive Vice President Content at Sky Deutschland since February 2016 and is a member of the management board. She is responsible for all programming, including rights acquisition, planning, development and implementation of in-house productions, design of the on-demand and streaming offer as well as the Sky Store. Since October 2020, Walthelm has also held the role of Managing Director of NBC Universal Global Networks Germany and is responsible for the channel business of 13th Street, SyFy and Universal Channel. In June 2023, she also took over as Head of Technology and Content Platforms & Operations, which bundles IT and broadcast-related functions. Walthelm has been with Sky since 2005 and, prior to her appointment to the Executive Management Team, primarily managed business relationships with all Sky partner broadcasters as Deputy Head of Programming. Prior to joining Sky, Walthelm worked at the strategic consultancy BBDO Consulting, now Batten & Company.
