Elke Walthelm

Since October 2023, Elke Walthelm has been Chief Operating Officer at Sky Deutschland, overseeing Programming, Technology, Content Operations, and People Functions.
Walthelm first joined the management team in February 2016 and, as Executive Vice President, has since led all content-related areas at Sky Deutschland. In 2020, she was appointed to the company’s executive board and also took on the role of Managing Director of NBC Universal Global Networks Deutschland that same year. Starting in June 2023, the Technology and Content Operations units—encompassing IT and broadcast-related functions—also came under her responsibility. Since November 2023, she has additionally led the HR department with the People Functions. Before joining Sky in 2005, Walthelm worked at the strategic consultancy BBDO Consulting, now Batten & Company.
