Christina Etteldorf

Christina Etteldorf studied law at Saarland University with a focus on German and international media and information law, followed by her legal clerkship, which also focused on media law in the practical electives. Since 2017, she has been employed at the Institute for European Media Law (EMR), since 2022 in the position of Scientific Officer. In addition, she has been working as an independent consultant in the field of data protection law since 2016. Since 2020, she has also been a lecturer at Saarland University and is responsible for the module Intellectual Property and Media Law for the departments of Economics and Law as well as Digital Business Administration. Her research and publication focus has most recently been on audiovisual media, media diversity assurance, data protection policy and data protection law, as well as diverse issues related to the regulation of online platforms and their impact on the media sector.
