Dr. Wolfgang Kreißig

Dr. Wolfgang Kreißig has been President and Chairman of the Board of the Baden-Württemberg Media Authority since April 2017. He was last confirmed by the LFK Media Council in February 2023 for a further six-year term of office. Dr. Kreiß, who holds a doctorate in law, was previously Head of the Broadcasting Policy and Media Department at the Baden-Württemberg State Ministry for over seven years. Before that, Dr. Kreißig was a judge at the regional court in Stuttgart. He began his career as a lawyer at the law firm Gleiss Lutz in the field of intellectual property law.
