Andreas Horchler

Andreas Horchler is the founder and owner of the communications consultancy podcon.de. He advises companies on communication issues, especially on the design of their corporate podcasts and videos. Horchler spent almost 30 years of his professional life at ARD, headed the communications department of a business school and was responsible for content and concepts at Studio ZX, ZEIT Verlag. As a reporter, editor, presenter and on-air designer, he worked in all areas of radio. From 2013 to 2017, he was ARD correspondent in Washington. He is passionate about the long formats of feature, audio book, podcast and sound radio play as an author, composer and director. He has received awards from the German Academy of Performing Arts, teaches in several communication courses at the Hochschule Darmstadt, was a member of the Grimme jury for the German Radio Award and a juror for the German Podcast Award.
