The 15th Münchner Bücherschau junior 2021 – the reading festival for children and families – will take place virtually from 1 to 9 May with an expanded digital offering on the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN digital platform. Via the Münchner Bücherschau junior website, you can get right into the action around the clock without registering. All offers are free of charge.
In the virtual media exhibition, books, audio books, children’s software, games and parents’ guides are ready to be discovered. The digital exhibition stands of the exhibiting children’s book publishers can be accessed conveniently around the clock via the website. The events will also be held exclusively digitally. The topics are varied for children from 4 to 10 years, but also for young people from 14 years. Recordings of the readings can be viewed in the media library until the end of the festival period. As a central platform, the website also offers various online services for families and educators: Downloads for educational materials, ideas for children’s activities, literature recommendations or thematic literature lists and videos – all bundled on the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN digital platform.
