Whether mixed reality smart glasses or VR-PlayStation, HoloLens or holodeck – new technologies and devices are constantly improving the market of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality as well as of 360° media. In the form of video and games, yet also simulations and industrial applications, more and more VR and 360° contents find their way onto the mass market. And there is no end of the boom in sight. Due to new technical possibilities in the field of volumetric capturing or AI it’s even spurred on.
Many firms and media companies have already gained experience with the development of 360° formats for their portfolio, journalistic media offerings as well as communication and marketing.
In the Immersive Media Area at MEDIENTAGE-Expo, leading technology providers present their latest devices. Media professionals invite to try out their immersive experiences and test AR applications.
