What are the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN? Who do they address?

At MEDIENTAGEN MÜNCHEN, top executives and media experts from television, radio, print and mobile, specialists from the digital business as well as advertising professionals, media politicians and film makers will set the course for the media world of tomorrow. The MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN is one of the leading events for the media and communications world with over 6,000 participants from Germany and abroad, several hundred accredited journalists, over 400 speakers and more than 90 individual events. The congress-accompanying media fair covers the entire range of digital media: from private and public-law program providers, online and mobile media to representatives of the areas of production media technologies, trade press and media research.
In addition, the integrated MediaCampus area provides discussion sessions and information about the education and training in the media sector. 
The MEDIENTAGE was launched in 1987 in order to launch a specialist discussion every year for important media-specific questions.
The MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN is aimed at entrepreneurs, executives, experts and professionals from the media and communications industry, as well as media and media recruits, as well as interested media users.

 

When and where do the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN take place?

MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN takes place every autumn at Messe München – in 2018 for the first time in the brand new Conference Center North. Information for your arrival can be found under Directions.

Where can I find the congress program of the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN?

The conference program of the MEDIENTAGE MUNICH can be found here.
From the beginning of August, already announced speakers with photo and CV will be presented online.
In September you will find an extensive program book, which presents the individual program items of the MEDIENTAGE in detail. If you have not yet received a program book, you can request it free of charge: info@medientage.de. In addition, there is an on-site program booklet during the MEDIENTAGE that will help you to plan your congress.
In addition, you can compile your individual congress plan online, print out as favorites and / or transfer selected appointments to Outlook or iCal.

 

What events are taking place at the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN next to the congress and media fair?

The social highlight of the three-day media event is the glamorous “Night of the Media“, the Get Together of the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN.
Following the first day of the fair (Tuesday, 25 October 2016), exhibitors and organizers invite the MEDIENTAGE visitors to the traditional EXPO-party in the CCM – for relaxed networking with cocktails, snacks, music and more.
In addition, the MEDIENTAGE program is supplemented by awards. For this a separate application is required directly from the respective hosts.
The Media Golf Cup takes place annually in the run-up to the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN.

How to get tickets for the MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN / Invitations for the Get Together “Nacht der Medien”?

Congress tickets for the MEDIENTAGE can be purchased online from June via a registration button on our homepage. In addition, registration is possible by fax or by post – the form can also be found online at the appropriate time via the registration button for download.
The valid ticket prices are available online and in the registration form during the registration period. Please note the indicated deadlines. Payment is made by transfer after invoice or by credit card. You will receive the registration card in good time before the event by post to the address you provide.

 

Tickets for the Get Together, the “Night of the Media”…

… can be bought in combination with a Kongressticket (as long as stocks last). Tickets are not transferable.
Note: The hosts of the “Night of the Media” invite their guests directly and choose the corresponding invitation management with their ticket contingent and independently of our above-mentioned approach. An overview of the hosts can be found under Events.

 

What is the price of a Kongressticket?

The valid ticket prices are available online on our website and in the registration form during the registration period from June.

 

I am student /pupil / trainee – are there special conditions for me?

Students / pupils / trainees can purchase reduced tickets up to the age of 30 and only with proof (copy of the student / pupil identification card or proof of education). The conditions can be found on the registration form.

 

How can I visit the expo? How do I register and what does it cost?

The expo is open to congress participants and registered visitors. Admission to the expo (incl. MediaCampus area) must be registered on all three days of the event. The ticket prices can be found HERE.

 

What are the opening hours of MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN?

The media fair accompanying the congress and the MedienCampus area are open from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. The congress events start around 10.00 a.m.

 

Unfortunately I can’t visit the MEDIENTAGE / the “Nacht der Medien”, but I’ve already bought a ticket – what now?
