Uli Köppen

Chief AI Officer, Bayerischer Rundfunk

Uli Köppen works in journalism on automation, algorithms, and digital strategy. She heads the journalistic AI and data teams at Bayerischer Rundfunk. As a Nieman Fellow in 2019, she spent an academic year at Harvard and MIT, was part of the Online News Association's Women's Leadership Accelerator in 2022, and has won numerous awards together with her colleagues.
