Prof. Dr. Till Krause

Prof. Dr. Till Krause writes, teaches and researches on digital media and its influence on people and society, as well as on podcasts and storytelling - and deals with the use of artificial intelligence in media production. He gives lectures, workshops and advises media and companies on how to use the opportunities of digitalization and tell sustainable stories with the latest technical means. He helped set up and manage the podcast and format development department for Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin and continues to advise SZ on the development of serial storytelling podcasts. As a journalist and author, he has received numerous awards, including the German Reporter Prize, the Media Prize for Information Technology and the Guardian Prize of the Daily Press. As a professor on the “New Media and Intercultural Communication” course at Landshut University of Applied Sciences, he works at the interface of technical and social innovations as part of Hightech Agenda Bayern, somewhere between digitalization, artificial intelligence, research, media skills and the question of where all this should actually lead.
