Claudia Lehmann

Claudia Lehmann studied politics and German language and literature with a focus on film in Hamburg (Magister Artium). She worked as an editor, chief of service and presenter at RTL NORD LIVE and RTL. For the weekly cinema programme EXCLUSIV KINO, she was responsible for the editorial management, took over the moderation and made live broadcasts from international film festivals for various RTL news formats. In 1999, she founded the creative agency for media and events maz&movie GmbH, initially with three employees, with the aim of establishing the knowledge and experience she had gained on filming trips around the world in Germany. Today, she employs 35 people in her offices in Klosterstraße, directly behind Berlin's Rotes Rathaus, and has been successfully training young talent in the industry for over 15 years as a woman-run company. Claudia Lehmann continues to host film events and press conferences, e.g. SHERLOCK HOLMES (Robert Downey Jr, Susan Downey, Guy Ritchie), PASSENGERS (Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt), MAMMA MIA (Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan), CHAPPIE (Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver), HANCOCK (Will Smith, Charlize Theron), JOHN WICK 4 (Keanu Reeves), THE ZONE OF INTEREST (Jonathan Glazer, Sandra Hüller, Christian Friedel), Filmkongress Baden-Baden 2023 and 2024. She has also conducted numerous media trainings in which she coaches actors and directors on how to present themselves confidently, professionally and self-assuredly on stage and red carpets as well as in interviews and press conferences. As managing partner of maz&movie GmbH, she has established the company as a modern production house for moving image content for all platforms and industries as well as for event productions. As a one-stop shop, maz&movie produces clips, image films, branded content, making-ofs, TV specials, documentaries, TV and online commercials, product and corporate films, livestreams, social media content, virtual productions and web series and is responsible for the entire production process from idea development and conception to organisation, shooting, editing and post-production. For many years, maz&movie has also successfully organised events such as film premieres, award ceremonies, press conferences and trade fair appearances, as well as corporate events, receptions and gala dinners.
