Daniela Beaujean

Daniela Beaujean, lawyer, has held various positions at VAUNET – Verband Privater Medien e.V. (Association of Private Media) since July 2004. In January 2020, she took over the management of the association together with Frank Giersberg and is primarily responsible for politics, law, and regulation. As legal advisor, she is responsible for all legal matters of the association. Her work focuses on media and telecommunications, advertising, competition, and consumer protection law, with a regular focus on the interfaces between European and national law. She also coordinates cooperation with other associations and represents VAUNET in external committees (e.g., AER, FFA, FSF, FSM, KSK, and ZAW). Daniela Beaujean studied law in Erlangen and Rennes (France) with a focus on European law. During her legal clerkship and afterwards, she spent several months in Brussels, including at the European Commission.
