Valerie Weber
Chairwoman of the Management Board, ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP
Since December 2024, Valerie Weber has been the Chairwoman of the Management Board of the ANTENNE BAYERN GROUP. Born in Munich, she studied Theatre Studies and German Philology in Erlangen. She completed her traineeship and gained her first editorial experience at the Nuremberg radio stations Radio Downtown, N1, and Radio Franken. This was followed by editorial and programme management roles in Stuttgart (including at Antenne 1) and Rostock (Ostseewelle). From 2004 to 2014, she worked as Programme Director and, from 2006 onwards, also as Managing Director for ANTENNE BAYERN and ROCK ANTENNE. In 2014, she became Director of Radio at WDR and five years later was appointed Cross-media Programme Director. From 2022 to 2024, she served as Programme Managing Director of the Audiotainment Südwest group, which includes the radio stations bigFM, RPR1., RADIO REGENBOGEN, and ROCK FM.
