Vera Cornette

Vera Cornette is a great advocate of public service broadcasting and an "ÖRR-plant": Since May 2022, she has been a member of the management team at "pub. - Public Value Technologies GmbH", the digital subsidiary of BR and SWR founded at the beginning of 2022. There, she is responsible for Business Development & Communications and, as part of a dual leadership team, for People & Culture. For her, technology not only has to work, it has to fascinate - otherwise users will pass the platforms by. Exactly ten years ago, Vera started her traineeship at Bayerischer Rundfunk. After that, she worked in various roles for BR and ARD: Most recently as a state parliament correspondent, presenter for ARD Alpha, BR24 Live, the citizens' program "jetzt red i" and as a reporter at various major events (G7 summit, security conference, breaking news). In parallel, she has completed various trainings in agile coaching and process facilitation and has more than 15 years of experience as a trainer for workshops and seminars. Now she builds bridges between developers and media makers and tries to bring collaborative software development within ARD forward. Synergies instead of duplicate structures, together instead of side by
