Mark Wachholz

Mark Wachholz has been writing across various media and genres for over 20 years, including three novels (2006–2009) and award-winning video games. His stories often explore the influence of systems on society, history, and identity.
Since 2023, Mark has expanded his storytelling through AI and is now considered one of the world's most successful AI filmmakers. His AI film "The Cinema That Never Was" (2025) caught the attention of Hollywood luminaries such as Alex Proyas (Dark City), John Gaeta (The Matrix), and Jeffrey Silver (Edge of Tomorrow). It won several Grand Prizes, including at the OMNI International AI Film Festival (Jury President George Miller, Mad Max), the Artefact AI Film Festival (Jury President Cédric Klapisch, L’auberge espagnole), and the 2025 Korea AI Content Awards.
His dystopian AI film "Céremony" (2025) was a Top 12 finalist out of 3,500 entries for the $1,000,000 AI Film Award by 1BillionFollowerSummit & Google Gemini and won the Grand Prize at the 2026 Indywood International AI Cinefest.
