Georg Meck

Georg Meck, born on May 30, 1967, is the editor-in-chief of FOCUS and FOCUS Money. After completing his studies in economics at the University of Tübingen, he began working as an intern at the newly founded news magazine FOCUS in 1994; from 1999 to 2001, he served as the publication’s EU correspondent in Brussels. He then joined the founding team of F.A.S., where he served as head of the economics and finance department until 2021. In September, he returned to Burda in Munich. He is the author of several non-fiction books, including works on Wirecard, the VW-Porsche clan, and Deutsche Bank.
