The fully qualified lawyer has been head of the Digital Department at the Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post, and Railways (Federal Network Agency) since September 2024. Together with her team, she deals with issues relating to the internet and digital regulation and is particularly responsible for supporting various digital legislation such as the AI Act, the Data Act, and the Data Governance Act.
From August 2020 until the establishment of the new digital department in September 2024, she headed the sub-department “Internet, Digitalization – especially in SMEs, Market Analysis” within the BNetzA's economic policy department. In this role, she supported the development of various legislative initiatives in the digital sector, such as the DMA and DSA, and was jointly responsible for the conceptual, content-related, and organizational implementation of the new tasks as Digital Services Coordinator.
