Priska Merbitz-Zahradnik

After completing her bachelor's degree in Multimedia Communication and Documentation at the Technical University of Aschaffenburg, Priska Merbitz-Zahradnik began her master's degree in Audiovisual Media at the Stuttgart Media University. Focusing on film and television, she developed a particular enthusiasm for broadcasting and worked on numerous live productions in the fields of image and lighting technology and motion graphics. It was here that she became aware of the diverse field of high dynamic range, which is also the subject of her master's thesis. In it, she examines human perception of graphic overlays in HDR broadcast content through a study and highlights challenges in this area. Even after completing her studies, she remained loyal to broadcasting and has been working as an image engineer at TVN Live Production since November 2024.
