Kemal Görgülü is Chief Technology Officer at ARTE and responsible for the overall technology strategy and AI strategy for the entire ARTE Group. He sees himself as a bridge builder between technology, program makers, and the strategic requirements of the broadcaster—and translates these into forward-looking solutions. Since 2020, he has been driving forward ARTE's digital transformation: from the modernization of IT, production, and distribution systems to the further development of the arte.tv media library and sustainable fields of innovation such as green streaming and artificial intelligence. He is fluent in five languages (German, English, French, Spanish, and Turkish) and has extensive leadership experience in interdisciplinary and international teams. As co-founder of the Beyond Platforms Initiative, he is also committed to new models for a digital ecosystem oriented toward the common good.
